Since July 2010, Schultheiss GmbH offers a new service in its new business unit RMC Services -Rapid Metal Casting Services-. Foundries and industrial enterprises can get complex prototypes and small batches in metal precision casting manufactured by Schultheiss. Schultheiss provides the complete project management starting from CAD-data and including consulting, simulation, casting and mechanical processing down to the tested pre-finished component.

 

Innovative and difficult to cast Al-, Mg- and steel alloys as well as complex mould geometries are a speciality of RMC Services. In these demanding performance segments, the process and cost advantages of the vacuum- and vacuum pressure technology of the Schultheiss casting machines appear.

 

As a worldwide acknowledged machine and equipment manufacturing company in heating and casting technologies, Schultheiss now makes the quality and performance efficiency of its system technology also available for external users. Foundries, industrial enterprises and partners in the automobile and aviation industry can now implement their developments even faster due to latest methods and technology. The new business unit is headed by Georg Rudolf, model maker and foundry engineer with over 20 years of experience in metal casting.
